The MPS Foundation is a global not-for-profit research initiative that aims to shape the future of patient safety and the wellbeing of healthcare professionals and teams.

Our 2024 Grant Programme and call for Expressions of Interest is now open and will close at 17.00 BST on Friday 3rd May 2024 .

The MPS Foundation is seeking to fund research that is focused on at least one of our five strategic priorities:

• the impact of human factors on patient safety, outcomes and risk
• the impact of healthcare processes and delivery models on patient safety, outcomes and risk
• the personal and professional wellbeing of healthcare professionals and teams
• the impact of digital integration and technology on patient safety, outcomes and risk
• evaluation of the effectiveness of teaching and learning innovations

We want to fund research that is original, evidence-based, and focused on applied research.  We particularly welcome proposals whose outcomes can be applied in private hospitals, outpatient practices or dental care environments.  Applications are invited from across the world from those who want to conduct research that aligns with The MPS Foundation's focus and priorities.
